Part-time Barista, 3 days per week. Koala Coffee We are looking for an experienced barista to join us in our friendly neighbourhood coffee shop. Ice Cream Maker, APRIL – SEPTEMBER. Minus 12 Craft Ice Cream We are seeking a full-time ice cream maker for 6 months this summer: April - September. You are someone who: •is reliable •has a strong work ethic •loves great tasting ice cream and has a passion for food •is able to work autonomously and as part of a team You will be responsible for: •making ice cream •making inclusions, sauces and ripples •transporting ice cream by cargo bike •cleaning and washing up •maintaining 5* food hygiene Opportunities include: •developing knowledge and ice cream making skills •working in a friendly supportive environment Experience/Qualifications required: •working in commercial kitchens •Level 2 food hygiene certificate or higher Pay: •£15 per hour plus holiday pay or £17 per hour as a self-employed contractor during the first month, probationary period. •raising to £16 per hour plus holiday pay or £18 per hour as a self-employed contractor following successful completion of the probationary period / first month. Hours: •Approx. 40 hours per week including one weekend shift.
